Goodnight looked at Billy carefully, then laughed. "Are you drunk already?" he teased, keeping his voice down. Unlike Billy he could not keep the smile off his face. His thumb brushed over Billy's bicep, a stolen touch.

He was, perhaps, a bit envious of Billy's head start. He'd had a glass of champagne but hadn't made it further than that. Something to be corrected sooner than later.
