Billy gave Goodnight another soft kiss, now on the corner of his mouth while he looked at the picture of the rings. He rather liked the idea of putting ideas into Goodnight's head, but leaving all the decisions up to him to make.
As he'd said, Billy would have happily gone down to the courthouse and signed whatever paperwork there was to make it official. But, as he'd said to Dorian weeks back in acknowledging how Goodnight was, he knew that wasn't how this would go.
