The insistence of Goodnight's touch, Billy knew, was an issue of assurance. Billy didn't mind it at all. He rather enjoyed when Goodnight was a little too intense, when he lost himself in this rather than the shadowy confines of his mind.

Billy, for his part, worked at Goodnight's belt and the fly of his trousers. If they could push back the darkness a little longer, Billy would do just about anything. It was not a difficult prospect at all.
